JAMMU, May 18: A sports goods showroom was gutted in fire at Ranibagh area, falling under the jursidiction of Gadigarh police post.
As per police sources, fire engulfed a sports goods showroom at Ranibagh owned by Madhu Dhar of Srinagar, presently residing at Chatha.
On getting information, police team from Gadigarh police post headed by SI Khayati Maan Khajuria rushed to the spot and fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, fire was brought under control with the help of two fire tenders and fire fighters.
No casualty or injury in the incident has been reported, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
