RAMBAN, Apr 7: A Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) died under mysterious circumstances, here today.
As per police sources, SPO of J&K Police namely Ajaib Singh, son of Sher Singh of Village Halwagan Sujmatna fell unconscious during patrolling at Makerkote, this evening. He was posted as SPO in Police Station Ramsoo.
The cop was shifted to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Ramsoo, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
After completing legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last rites.
Ramsoo police has taken cognizance in this regard.
