Srinagar, Jan 20: Sopore Police today arrested an SPO Peer Khalid for his ‘sarcastic’ post on social media platform about a particular community.
Police said that a written complaint was received by Police Station Dangiwacha from community members regarding ‘sarcastic’ post by SPO and for taking legal action.
Accordingly, police said, a case FIR No. 12/2021 U/S 295 A/153 A IPC has been registered at Police Station Dangiwacha and further investigation set into motion.
Police said that it will never tolerate such kind of things and will make sure that the communal harmony in society is maintained.
