MENDHAR, Mar 2: An SPO was arrested today by Mendhar police for allegedly kidnapping a 20-year-old girl hailing from Chhunga area.
The police party from Mendhar area, acting on a specific information, organised a raid and nabbed the accused SPO from his friend’s house near Poonch city. The kidnapped young girl was also recovered.
The accused has been identified as Mohd Shakeel, son of Mohd Sadiq, resident of Chhunga in Mendhar. The girl also belongs to the same area. SPO is married and he already has two wives and three children. The police after conducting Medical examination of the girl, handed her to the family members. A case FIR No. 24/ 2016 has been registered against him at Mendhar Police Station.
