NEW YORK, May 26: A space cadet paid USD one million to go to the moon with Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio.
The “Wolf of Wall Street” star offered the adventure at the star-studded gala and auction in Cannes, France, for amFAR, the international nonprofit group that supports AIDS research, reported the New York Daily News.
It is yet not revealed who won the bidding war to blast off into orbit next year with the actor.
It was the second year DiCaprio put up a space trip for the auction.
Last year, Russian real estate mogul Vasily Klyukin paid USD 1.5 million to explore the final frontier with DiCaprio on Virgin Galactic’s SpaceshipTwo. (PTI)
