SP South starts free coaching for SI aspirants

JAMMU, June 1: SP City South Sandeep Chaudhary today said that recruitment exam for the post of SIs in J&K Police will be conducted on June 24 in an objective and transparent manner through a written examination.
In order to inspire deserving young men and women to join the J&K Police, Chaudhary, has started  a free coaching camp from till June 23 for the aspirants.
Initial orientation class was conducted from 8.30 am to 10.30 am. The classes will be conducted from 8.30 am to 10.30 am in SP South office. The SP further added that the coaching camp will be totally free of cost and entire syllabus for the exam will be covered.
The syllabus for the written exam includes current  events of National and International importance, History of India and Indian National Movement, Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World, Indian Polity and Governance-Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Police, Right Issues, etc.
The exam will further include Economic and Social Development-Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc, General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change- that do not require subject specialization, General Science, General mental ability, Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitudes, etc).
“Total 120 Multiple Choice/ objective type Questions will be part of the examination and duration will be two hours. The candidates who have qualified the physical examination are encouraged to benefit from this coaching camp, Choudhary said, adding that the priority of this coaching camp is to encourage bright young men and women from rural backgrounds to work hard and achieve success in this tough competition. Ably guided and transparently recruited officers can go a long way in serving the society better,” he asserted.
