JAMMU, Mar 24: Former Union Minister and president J&K Pradesh Congress Committee Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz met the Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here this evening.
A PCC spokesman said that during meeting with the Chief Minister at his residence, the PCC chief discussed the over all situation prevailing in the State. The main issues which came up for discussion during the meeting with the Chief Minister included, elections to Local Bodies, incorporation of 73rd Amendment of the Constitution of India in the State Panchayati Raj Act and enhancement of reservation in favour of OBCs.
Later, Prof Soz also met the Governor at his official residence (Raj Bhawan) and discussed certain issues related to the State.
