UDHAMPUR, Mar 24: Anju Devi, a student of 10th standard was adjudged best speaker in the symposium on “Water is Life” organized by Department of Information at Government High School, Kulwanta, Tehsil Ramnagar.
The second and third positions were clinched by Akashita Thakur of class 8th and Balbir Singh of class 10th respectively. Two consolation prizes were also given to Neelam Devi and Babli Devi, both of 9th class, while the other participants were awarded prizes and certificates of merit.
Raj Kumar, Daulat Raj and Makhan Singh adjudged the performances of the participants.
At the end, Headmaster of the host School, Jagan Nath presented vote of thanks.
Tirth Ram conducted the proceedings of the programme.
