JAMMU, June 29: For Aadhaar enrolment in Jammu and Kashmir, the Government has issued Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and directed all the Deputy Commissioners/Administrators of Municipal Corporations and the Municipal Committees for strict compliance of the same by the Aadhaar enrollment agencies in their respective areas of jurisdiction.
Certificate of the Tehsildar, based on house-hold schedule- duly affirmed by family head and verified by local teacher as required under NPR process, carrying a stamp size photo of the citizen, shall continue to be entertained as proof of Identity and address.
In case the certificate of Tehsildar is not available, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID Card or Pension Photo Card can be entertained as proof of identity while Passport, Voter ID Card, Passport of spouse, Passport of parents (in case of minor) or permanent residential certificate, issued by the competent authority, will be accepted as proof of address.
For the proof of relationship, Passport or birth certificate, issued by the competent authority, shall be entertained.
The residents should present the duly attested NPR form or the Proof of Address/Proof of Identity notified documents in original at the enrolment centre for capturing the biometric. The scanned copy of these documents shall be uploaded by the vendors for UIDAI use.
Blank NPR enrolment forms will be made available in all enrolment centres by the respective Deputy Commissioner for facilitating such residents, who have been left out by the Enumerators, during the exercise.
All those residents, who have received their Aadhaar Cards but have corrections in the demographic data, can visit the nearest Permanent Enrollment Centre for correction/updation in the demographic data alongwith valid POI, PoR, prescribed by the State Government DoB prescribed by the UIDAI as the case may be. In case of a minor (0-5 years), the POR prescribed by the State with the concurrence of the UIDAI, shall be entertained while the duly attested NPR form with photograph of the family/individual would be treated as a proof for all the three (DOB, POI and POA).
The usual residents of various villages of tehsil would be called to the Aadhaar centre. Village/EB wise, as per the calendar prescribed by the Tehsildar. After the biometric data collection for Aadhaar generation is complete, the generated CIDR packet shall be uploaded to the UIDAI server for the generation of Aadhaar.
