JAMMU, Sept 17: Shastri Nagar Welfare Forum (SNWF) today expressed serious concern over worsening sanitation condition of Shastri Nagar Housing Colony.
In a meeting of the Forum held today under the presidentship of Lt Col MR Uppal, speakers decided to approach Municipal Corporation, Jammu, to apprise him about worst sanitation conditions of Shastri Nagar Housing Colony, which are becoming worst from bad as safaikaramcharis seldom visit the locality.
It was also decided that the concerned executive engineers will be approached to get the grass removed from lanes. The meeting further decided to meet the concerned MLA for the repair of lanes and drains, as for last two years no such work has been undertaken in the Colony.
