Snatcher arrested

JAMMU, Aug 4: Nagrota police arrested a snatcher and recovered stolen mobile phone from his possession.
As per police sources, today a complaint was lodged by Attar Singh of Panjgrain with Police station Nagrota stating that when he was busy in selling juice a unknown person snatched his MI Note 5 phone and fled away.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 310/2020 under section 382 IPC was registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, police rounded up several suspects and finally nabbed the accused from Jagti who has been identified as Mohammad Naseem, son of Mohammad Moosa of Makhanpur Gujjran Miran Sahib.
On his disclosure, stolen mobile phone worth Rs 9500 was recovered.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain his involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Mohammad Shokat made the arrest under supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Sharma.
