KATRA, June 2: Medical Aid Centre of SMVDU organized free medical camp for the residents of village Kakryal at Government High School, Sirah Colony, in which approximately 400 people, comprising elderly, children, men and women were examined.
Medical Officer, Incharge/ ENT Specialist Dr Anju Sharma along with her team Dr Supinder Singh and Dr R Z Ahmed, examined the villagers and prescribed them necessary treatment as well as medicines.
Dr Neha Sethi (Dental Surgeon), Dr Gurpreet Soodan (Physiotherapist), Shuchita Jain (Dietician) and Ayushi Grover (Psychologist), were also available for their advice. Paramedical staff, including Vinod Kumar, Manish Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Basanti Kumari, Alka Saini, Sohan Lal and Darshan Lal were also present. Bansi Lal, Sarpanch, Ashok Kumar, Panch and Lal Chand, Headmaster welcomed more such events for the betterment of the villagers.
The aim of this camp was to reach the local populace and spread awareness about basic cleanliness and health care issues so as to enable them lead a healthy life. This camp was conducted under the aegis of Vice Chancellor Prof Sanjeev Jain.
