Srinagar, Nov 8: The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) has sealed at least four illegal structures coming up in Shutrashahi area of Karan Nagar.
The structures were sealed after the SMC received complaints from the residents of the area that the structures are coming up in the area without any proper permission from the concerned authorities.
While taking cognizance of the complaint, Commissioner SMC Gazanfar Ali directed the Enforcement Wing of the Corporation for prompt action. The structures, officials said, were sealed in the presence of concerned Enforcement Officer, Ward Officer and other officials.
All those structures, the officials said, coming up illegally or the structures deviating from the sanctioned building plans will too face similar action.
