VIJAYPUR, Oct 9: Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur,Surjeet Singh Slathia today inaugurated Public Health Centre at Gurwal which has been completed at an estimated cost of Rs.10 lakh .
Mr. Slathia also inaugurated two Additional Class Rooms in Government Middle School, Gurwal constructed at an estimated cost of Rs.6 lakh.
While addressing the gathering, Slathia assured the people that the Government is committed to provide basic amenities to the people of the area and several developmental works are under execution in this regard, he added.
Slathia said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is keen to modernize the remote and backward areas. He said road connectivity is the most important aspect in this regard and he assured for road connectivity to every village of the state on priority basis.
Earlier, he met with a deputation which submitted a charter of demands to the MLA. He assured that their demands shall be redressed soon.
Among others BMO Ramgarh, BDO Vijaypur, ZEO Vijaypur, Panchs & Sarpanchs and other officers of different departments were present on the occasion.
