SAMBA, July 8: Former Minister and MLA Vijaypur Surjeet Singh Slathia today inaugurated a public shed at village Yogpur in Vijaypur constituency which has been completed at the cost of Rs.12.00 lakh under BADP.
Addressing a public gathering in the village, Slathia listened to the grievances of the people of the area and assured them that their demands like construction of pending lanes and drains, repair of roads, repair of poles and electric wires will be redressed soon.
Slathia said that Coalition Government has ensured equitable development of all the regions of the State, adding that the main attention has been given to up-gradation of the basic facilities.
Slathia urged upon the people to work hard for further cementing the bonds of brotherhood and communal amity. He asked the people to strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah for future development of J&K State.
Among others BDO Vijaypur, Sarpanchs and Panchs were also present on the occasion.
