JAMMU, June 12: The office bearers of SKUAST-TAJ under the leadership of Dr Vikas Sharma visited KVK-Jammu, RS Pura to discuss the problems being faced by the KVK scientists.
Dr Sanjay Khar Programme Coordinator, KVK- Jammu apprised the Association about the problems being faced by KVK scientists and their demands, such as regular release of salaries of KVK staff, inclusion KVK scientists in advisory committee of students, immediate release of arrears on account of pending DA / advance increments as well as CAS promotions, etc.
The president, Dr Vikas Sharma assured the scientists that their issues will be taken on priority basis with the University authorities for immediate redressal.
The meeting was attended by Dr P K Rai, Dr Devinder Sharma, Dr Rajeev Bharat, Dr S P Gupta and others.
