JAMMU, July 30: Dr Kuldeep Raj Sharma, Professor (Soil Science) in SKUAST-Jammu, was accorded a warm send off today by SKUAST-Teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) on his superannuation from the service.
Dr Sharma Professor (Soil Science) rendered distinguished services of more than 30 years to the Varsity. VC SKUAST-Jammu Dr J P Sharma, while appreciating Dr Sharma’s contributions in teaching, research and extension, wished him a very healthy post-retired life.
President of SKUAST-TAJ Dr Vikas Sharma presented the retiring officer a trophy and citation in which latter’s achievements as an administrator and contributions in the discipline of Soil Science were reflected.
Dean Basic Sciences Dr SEH Rizvi, Dean FoA Dr Bikram Singh, HoD Soil Science, Dr Vikas Sharma, Dr Vivak Arya (general secretary of Association), executive members Dr PK Rai, Dr Rajeev Bharat, Dr Anil Bhat, Dr Poonam Parihar and advisor Dr RK Samnotra were present on the occasion.
