JAMMU, Nov 2: Dr. Balbir Dhotra, Assistant Professor (Soil Science) at SKUAST-J has been awarded with ‘Excellent in Research’ award.
The award was given to Dr. Dhotra by the Society for Scientific Development in Agriculture and Technology on for his outstanding research contribution in the field of Soil Science and Agriculture Chemistry for the welfare of the farming community and soil health.
Society President, Dr U.K Tripathi and Secretary Dr S.P Singh were also present on the occasion.
The award was conferred to Dr. Dhotra during three days international conference on Global Research Initiatives for Sustainable Agriculture and Allied Sciences during held at Rajasthan Agricultural Research Institute, Jaipur.
The award carries a Gold Plated Medal and a Certificate.
Dr. Dhotra has contributed to over 25 publications in reputed international, national journals, reputed papers and magazines and he is the life member of eight professional societies of India.
