JWAM stages protest, demands delimitation commission

JAMMU, Nov 2: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists here today staged a protest demonstration demanding implementation of delimitation commission.
Addressing the protesters JWAM President, Sunil Dimple further demanded bifurcation of Jammu West Assembly constituency into two constituencies as he claimed that this is the largest constituency in the State.
He appealed to the Governor, Satya Pal Malik to start an open public Darbar for public hearing and dissolve the legislative assembly to hold fresh elections in the State.
He said that Jammu region is suffering from discrimination and claimed that no development took place in Jammu as the 25 elected MLAs and 2 MPs of BJP allegedly remained busy in making money.
“BJP could not get a holiday declared on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, it failed in implementation of delimitation commission and abrogation of Art 35-A and 370.
He strongly condemned the killing of BJP leaders Anil Parihar and Ajit Parihar.
Those who were present in the protest were Harbans Tondon, Chaman Pawar, Rakesh Pandoh and others.
