SKS, Sikh intellectuals hope minorities to get justice with new law

NEW DELHI, Dec 12: Sampooran Kashmir Sanghattan (SKS) has expressed its pleasure over the passage of Citizens Amendment Bill (CAB) by both Houses of Parliament.
SKS, while appreciating the role of Home Minister, Amit Shah for his tremendous hit back to all questions of Opposition parties one by one in both houses appealed the people of the country not to get swayed by false propaganda of some opposition parties in this regard.
Chairman SKS, Anoop Koul has complimented Government of India for bringing this bill for deprived refugees who were forced to leave their countries due to terrorism.
SKS also complimented GoI for its stand on minorities living in various countries of world.
General secretary, SKS Bharat Kachroo has expressed hope that like refugees from other countries have been given justice after 72years of independence by Narendra Modi Government the same way justice will be provided to K displaced Kashmiri Pandits who are living like refugees in their own country for last 30years as they were also uprooted from their homeland Kashmir by terrorists.
President of SKS, Rakesh Kaul urged GoI that the tag of migrants /refugees should be removed once for all from this exiled community and concrete policy for resettlement and rehabilitation should be announced for this nationalist community. SKS also strongly demanded that time has come that GoI should move now for exiled community who remained un addressed and ignored for last 30 years.
Meanwhile, All J&K PoJK 1947 Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum president, Advocate Amrik Singh has also complimented the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Home Minster, Amit Shah for passage of CAB.
In a statement issued here, today he said by virtue of this law the minorities residing in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan heaved a sigh of relief as their strength has reduced from 23 percent to three percent from 1947 to 2011.
He said lakhs of Hindus and Sikhs were forcibly converted and many of daughters and sisters were forced to inter caste marriages as Aurangzeb Fatwa was prevailing in these countries. He said the great blunder made by Congress in 1947 has been rectified by Modi Government.
