RAMBAN, Dec 12: Two persons were injured when the Alto car they were traveling in skidded off the road near Panthyal on Jammu-Srinargar National Highway.
As per police sources, an Alto car bearing registration number JK02BK-6640 was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into deep gorge near Panthyal, resulting into injuries to two persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Ramban from where they were later referred to Government Medical Collage and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for specialized treatment.
The injured persons were identified as Jatinder Bhat (38) Maharaj Krishsan, a resident of Bohri Talab Tillo District Jammu and Sprin Lagu (38), son of SK Lagu, a resident of Sheikhpora District Budgam, at present Gole Gujaral District Jammu.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
