“There is one park in the Ward which is well developed and it also has an Open Air Gym and many other facilities,” she maintained adding: “There is no public toilet, no playground, no vehicle parking place and no health centre in the Ward.”
Devi informed that the Ward has a very little sewerage problem as it is mostly sloppy and chances of the sewerage pipes getting blocked are rare.
“There are 27 Safai Karamcharis in the Ward but 10 more are needed for satisfactorily cleanliness there though with hectic efforts and proper use of present manpower we have made the Ward properly clean,” the Councillor said.
She informed that there are hanging wires and damaged poles in the Ward which could not be corrected so far due to poor funding.
Rama Devi said that there are three Community Halls in the Ward of which one is still underdeveloped at a Church though Rs. 20 lakh was spent on it by JMC
“There are two autos for garbage collection from door-to-door and these are doing good work and after this service was introduced, number of garbage dumps have been reduced in the Ward,” she continued.
