Srinagar, June 7: Police today said six persons were injured in different road accidents across Valley.
A police spokesman said an Alto car bearing registration number JK03E-9686 driven by Tariq Ahmad Khan turned turtle at Awantipora Chowk in Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to three persons. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
He said that a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13-9207 driven by Ishfaq Ahmad Rather and a Tata-407 vehicle bearing registration number JK01E-2787 collided at Peerbagh Chowk on Srinagar outskirts collided, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion mate Mohammad Altaf Sofi. “Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the police spokesman said.
The spokesman further said that an Alto car bearing registration number JK02AF-5311 driven by Mudasir Mehraj Bhat turned turtle on National Highway near Sarai Dangerpora in Sumbal area of Bandipora district, resulting in injuries to the driver. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
