Srinagar, Feb 15: Six persons were injured in different road accidents across Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said a Tata Sumo JK05D-1647 hit and injured Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh at Khawadpora in Karnah area of Kupwara district. “The injured has been shifted to Sub District Hospital Tanghdar for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a Tata Sumo number JK04B-1751 and Scooty JK02AK-8583 collided near Marhaba Shopping Complex in Qamarwari here, resulting in injuries to a person identified as Aijaz Ahmad. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
A Santro Car bearing registration number JK03B-9237 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Syed Ghulam Hassan Hiller village of Kokernag in Anantnag district. “The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The police spokesman said a Tipper bearing registration number JK22-0353 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Zakir Ahmad Malik at Wanpoh area of Kulgam district. “The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said an Alto-800 car bearing registration number JK05E-6361 collided with a Maruti Van bearing registration number JK05E-4327 at Trumbund Tarzoo area of Sopore in Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to Van driver and another person. “Both the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
