POONCH, Dec 20: Six persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that a couple was injured as Maruti Van No. JK12/9973 fell into the fields from the road at Gohlad near Mendhar at around 12.15 pm today. The injured identified Imtiaz Ahmed and his wife -Samina Akhtar were admitted to Mendhar hospital.
Meanwhile, four persons were injured when a Tata Sumo met with an accident at Chhajla in Mankote area of Mendhar this evening. All the injured were removed to SDH Mendhar where one of the accident victims, Vilayat Bi-55, was referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The other injured persons were identified as Sobia Kouser, wife of Mohd Kushal from Mankote, Mohd Zahid, son of Mohd Hanief and Nazia Kouser-22, wife of Mohd Liaqat, both from Mankote.
