Six injured in clash between two groups

JAMMU, July 19: Six persons of two different groups were injured today in a clash over some old enmity at Bhag Bassian area of Bishnah.
The injured from one group have been identified as Rampal (26) son of Tilak Raj, Ram Lal (67) son of Mulkh Raj, Sanjeet (22) son of Bachchan Lal, Vikram (22) son of Karnail (22) while the injured from other group are Murad Bathi (16) son of Saraj and Sambra Bibi (60) wife of Shah Mohd. All the injured are residents of Bhag Bassian.
According to a police spokesperson, both the groups filed counter FIR against each other at police station Bishnah alleging that the other group attacked them with stones at about 4 pm this evening near their residence, that too without any reason.
All the injured were rushed to a local hospital from where later four of them were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu while Vikram and Murad Bathi who had received minor injuries were discharged from the local hospital after providing first aid.
A case in this regard has been registered at police station Bishnah and investigations started. No arrest has been made so far.
