Six injured in clash between 2 groups

JAMMU, May 31: Six persons were injured today in a clash happened between two groups in Miran Sahib area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the clash occurred over some land issue at Bahadurkhan in Miran Sahib area and both the groups attacked each other with lathies and sharp edged weapons. He said four persons of one group and two of other group were injured in the clash.
“The injured were identified as Kura Ram (67) son of Ravela Ram, Darshana Devi (50) wife of Daya Ram, Daya Ram (54) son of Ravela Ram, Pardeep Kumar (22) son of Daya Ram, Naseem Ahmed (65) son of Sardar Khan and his son Mohd Shaka (33), all residents of Bahadurkhan,” he added.
The official said that on the complaint of Kura Ram, a case against rival group has been registered at police station Miran Sahib and further investigation started.
