Singh raises people oriented issues

KATHUA, June 4:  Ex-Power Minister Babu Singh has demanded the beginning of classes of trainee doctors from this year at Medical College here, and raised the issues of  power crisis, unavailability of ration, water crisis in the area,  today.
He also raised the issuances of Dogra certificate in his priority demands and warned to launch a massive district wide movement under the banner of Nature-Mankind Friendly Global Party if demands are not fulfilled.
Singh addressing the press conference urged the State Government for start the issuance of Dogra certificate for the welfare of Dogra youths of the State. Adding he said that the Dogra certificate-a compulsory document enabling people from the entire belt along North of Jawahar Tunnel for relaxation in the requisite height for recruitment in Army.  “Our Government should also consider this,” he suggested.
In his address, Singh also raised the issue of power crisis, water crisis, ration crisis and also demanded the facilities of toilet complexes at Kalibari and Hatli Morh. Singh urged the State Government to be sensitive and accountable towards the people and come forward with a concrete and comprehensive public caring policy so basic needs of the Kathua people could be addressed.
Former Union Health Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad has appreciated for sanctioning a Medical College at District Kathua.
