NEW DELHI, Nov 19: Silver prices moved down by 0.19 per cent to Rs 35,737 per kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed positions amid a weak global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December moved down by Rs 67, or 0.19 per cent, to Rs 35,737 per kg in a business turnover of 516 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in March 2015 declined by Rs 51, or 0.14 per cent, to Rs 36,587 per kg in 26 lots.
Market analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a weak trend overseas put pressure on silver prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver fell 0.30 per cent to USD 16.15 an ounce in Singapore. (PTI)
