Sikh Organisations for evacuation of stranded people

JAMMU, May 3: Various Sikh Organisation today appealed the Lieutenant Governor to make arrangements for the stranded people of Kashmir majority belong to Sikh community to reach their respective homes.
J&K Sikh United Front – an amalgam of various Sikh organisations held meeting here through telephonic under the chairmanship of Sudhrshan Singh Wazir, Sikh United Front; Dayal Singh Wazir, Shiromani Akali Dal; Mohinder Singh, Bhai Kaniya Nishkam Sewa Society; Darbinder Singh, Shiromani Akali Dal and Kulwant Singh Khajuria, Shiromani Akali Dal.
All of them unanimously decided and urged the LG to intervene personally and asked the nodal officer for their early evacuation who were stuck here at Jammu due to lockdown since March 24.
They said that since the nationwide lockdown was announced they are out of pocket and running from pillar to post for the evacuation but no one seems bothered about them.
They also requested the students went outside the J&K UT for study are still awaiting for evacuation.
The telephonic meeting was attended by Gajan Singh, Prof Yudhvir Singh, Surinder Singh Kala, Raja Singh, Charanjeet Singh, Rajinder Singh, Harpreet Singh Chottu, Surjeet Singh Kukoo, Ravinder Singh, Kuldeep Kour, Gurmeet Kour, Harpeet Singh Lucky, Manmohan Singh, Rasbir Singh, Kuldeep Singh Malik, Kulwant Singh, Kultar Singh, and Tejpal Singh.
