SIC must modify its order

Sir,
This refers to column titled “Redressal of Genuine Service Matter” (Daily Excelsior 22.1.2018) by Dr Raja Muzaffar . I believe everyone has right to seek information even if it is related to service matter or any other legitimate issue. There are people in rural areas who are not enlisted in the BPL category inspite of the fact that they belong to lower income groups. There are people who inspite of  being homeless are not covered under PM’s Aawas Yojna (Rural) which was earlier called Indira Awas Yojna (IAY). Can’t these people use RTI to get justice ? I know State Information Commissioner  Mohammad Ashraf Mir’s intention wasn’t to underestimate the aforementioned facts , but the way order has been issued in case of Mukhtar Ahmad Tanki V/s PIO and FAA Chief Engineer (EM & RE) may lead to some problems in future. Mr Mir has been J&K’s Law Secretary in past and is quite well versed with legal issues , I would appeal him and Chief Information Commissioner Mr K A Ganai  to modify the order so that in future some vested interested PIOs might not seek relief under garb of this order. I appreciate author for highlighting this important issue.
Yours etc….
Sajad Mir
