Shyam, Sukhnandan visit border villages

JAMMU, Oct 24: The Minister of PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Shyam Choudhary and MLA Marh and former Minister Ch. Sukhnandan today visited the affected border villages in their constituencies to ascertain the situation there.
Shyam Choudhary while interacting with the border people in Suchetgarh and R  S Pura assured all support and help to them from Government. He also distributed money among affected people out of his own fund.
Ch Sukhnandan Kumar visited the villages of Gajansoo, Golepattan, Deorian and Kanch which were subjected to heavy firing and mortar shelling by Pakistan in which one lady Parkasho Devi wife of Fungo Ram of Gajansoo got injured and was admitted in GMC. MLA was shocked over the loss made due to shelling from across as many cattle were also killed and dozens of houses were damaged in shelling.
He said people are panicked and most of them have moved towards safer places.
In Gajansoo which is the native village of MLA dozens of motor shells were fired by Pak Rangers. The MLA later visited the GMC to enquire about the injured lady. The IGP Jammu, SSP Jammu and others also accompanied the MLA during his visit.
