JAMMU, Dec 22: “Jannat”, the very first music album of Shreya Gandral was launched here at police auditorium with great jubilation and exhilaration.
It was indeed a mellifluous concert. The album was launched formally by chief guest, K Vijaya Rajendra, chairperson, Police Social Welfare Society. K Rajendera, DGP J&K, was guest of honour and Anjali, Director, Radio Station was presiding guest.
Shreya Gandral’s self composed musical rendition ‘Jannat’ was appreciated by one and all. She is a promising singer who has done many shows at State and National level and won many awards. She brought laurels to her State by her victorious performance in ‘Choona Hai Aasmaan
Season 2013, Sursangam 2014, Jammu Ke Hunnar Baz and Singing Star of Jammu organised by U4U.
She remained 1st runner up in ‘Pa Ma Ga Re Sa’ at Srinagar and one of the rounds of All India Devotional Singing Competition Katra. She was also winner of Navratra Festival Jammu. Shreya was also top contestant in the competition at Doordarshan under the banner of ‘Aao Pechaan Banayain’. She was awarded by bollywood music composer and director, Anu
Malik and well appreciated by Ashok Thakaria, a film director from Mumbai.
According to shreya’s father, Rajesh Gandral, who is an educationist and heading a CBSE school in Kota, he has rendered his constant support motivation and guidance to help her reach to the zenith of success. “It was his mistake that he couldn’t tap her talent in the early years of her life otherwise she would have crossed many milestones till now”, he added.
