JAMMU, Sept 22:  The Jammu has earned the distinction of getting the first NEXA Showroom in the State from Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL). The NEXA Jammu showroom which is 60th of the country since its launch last month was inaugurated by T Hashimoto, Executive Director (M&S), Partho Banerjee, senior vice president, Sales and Network, Nexa and Baldev Singh Raina, MD & CEO, Peaks Group at a grand function opposite Green belt Park Gandhi Nagar near here this afternoon.
Talking to Excelsior at the sidelights of the function, T. Hashimoto and Partho Banerjee said that 100 Nexa showrooms will come up across the India in next six and eight months. They said the Jammu showroom is 60th in the country.
They said NEXA marks the first initiative by an automobile company to go beyond selling cars and create a new format of retail experience for the customers.
They said one of the core values of NEXA is pampering and hospitality. It is to listen to the customer and understand his need. The relationship managers have been trained to pay full attention to customer when in conversation with him. Besides, at NEXA the team will also exhibit qualities such as warmth, respect, courtesy and punctuality, they added.
They said at NEXA special attention has been accorded to in maintaining customer privacy while the conservations are on. Specially designed cubicles and separate seating area fulfills this objective, they added.
They said the relationship manager will ensure that the entire buying, after sales and ownership experience is smooth and hassle free. To ensure this the Nexa team has been trained using in depth and holistic modules developed by ace trainer Dale Carnegie.
Mr Banerjee while giving details said another interesting feature is My NEXA, a loyalty programme that has been designed to offer rewards and recognition beyond the automotive industry. Through co-branded credit cards and tie-ups with lifestyle brands, My NEXA makes the NEXA relationship more rewarding, he added.
He said NEXA will also be one of the most digitally and technologically advanced buying experiences for the automobile customers. Equipped with State of the art I- Pad, every relationship manager will deliver outstanding in store experience.   Going paperless, the car configurator provides a virtual experience to the customer.
Maintaining that NEXA is new design experience, he said the NEXA showrooms have been designed in a black and white prestige monochromatic theme that showcases the displayed vehicles in their full glory.
He said the Mission NEXA is to offer innovative value and direction so that  the company representatives can adequately respond to the new segments of Indian customers and offer them the experience which they value. “While we will of course continue to enhance customer satisfaction in our current network, with NEXA, I am confident Maruti Suzuki will be able to cater to a broader range of customers who value pampering, innovation and a personal touch in their car owning experience.”
He said Maruti Suzuki has consistently led the industry in terms of reach, depth and quality of sales and services network. The high level of customer satisfaction at the network has contributed to the company achieving a market share in the range of 45 percent.
Mr Banerjee said to attain its medium term goal of two million annual sales by 2020, the company is taking new initiative in all areas of business. NEXA is one of the major initiatives. The company is reaching out to new segments of customers emerging in a changing India, he added.
He said customer feedback and surveys have shown that there is a growing segment of car buying Indians who desire and value personnel care, warmth and attention in their car buying and ownership experience  and NEXA is designed to fulfill their desires.
Maintaining that  Maruti Suzuki which is very much part of PM’s Make in India slogan said since the launch of NEXA in the country last month 4600 cars were sold in the country.
He appealed the customers to visit the NEXA showroom and share the experience.
He also complimented the Baldev Singh Raina, MD &CEO Peaks Group saying that he believes in customer care and service. He said the new showrooms of NEXA will be opened step by step when asked does the company intend to open another showroom in Summer Capital Srinagar.
Baldev Singh Raina, MD &CEO, Peaks Group while addressing the launching function earlier said his team started journey of Maruti Suzuki in 2007 and in 2008 it got first dealership in Srinagar, in Kashmir Valley. He said his company has a spare part outlet in Leh and it was awarded best in Limca book of records.
T Hashimoto congratulated the team for opening the first showroom in J&K saying that he feels elated to be the part of the team. He said NEXA would provide an image of pampering and hospitality to customers and it will create a new bench mark in Indian automobile industry.
