JAMMU, Jan 16: Chief Judicial Magistrate Amarjeet Singh Langeh has issued show cause notice to Executive Engineer PMGSY Mahore as to why an order for his detention in civil prison be not passed on account of his failure to execute three awards in conformity with the law on the subject.
The significant order has been passed in three petitions seeking execution of awards passed in favour of respective petitioners on 29.01.2019. In file No. 51/Wages Act, petitioner seeks realisation of award amount of Rs 3,78,082 along with Rs 3,000 as compensation. Similarly in file No. 52/Wages Act, petitioner seeks realisation of award amount of Rs 1,94,275 along with Rs 3,000 as compensation and in file No. 53/Wages Act, petitioner seeks realisation of award amount of Rs 3,28,066 along with Rs 3,000 as compensation from the respondent.
Vide order dated 06.02.2020, an attachment warrant was directed to be issued against respondent authorising therein District Collector (Deputy Commissioner), Reasi to attach moveable property of respondent to the tune of amount awarded in the awards under execution and submit compliance report by 05.03.2020.
