JAMMU, July 25: Dogra Recordz in association with Lens Knight released a short movie entitled ‘Aakhir Kab Tak’ at K L Saigal Hall.
The core theme of the movie, which has been directed by Aaditya Bhanu, turned out to be heart rendering at it was based on minor rape victims, the justice for whom is never delivered. The movie opens with a minor being raped and then done to death by the culprits. A superfluous police investigation and loud assurances coming from the ministers follow.
The parents of the murdered victim are subjected to various questions from media to make it hot news. Finally when the entire drama ends, the hopeless parents are seen sitting beside the graveyard of their beloved daughter who after knowing that justice will never prevail, decide to end their lives. Both pour kerosene on each other and end up in flames.
The conceptual design and production part was taken care of by Suman Kesar while the soul rendering dialogues were written by Shilakha Sharma.
