POONCH, Nov 12: Many shopkeepers today staged protest over poor quality of macadamisation work at Tehsil headquarters Mandi.
Protestors while raising slogans against PWD, Tehsil and District administration Poonch said that the blacktopping done a day ago has been uprooted which shows that how sub standard work has been done in the town.
Rashid Ahmed, Mushtaq Hussain, Nasir Ali, Mohd Yousuf and other protestors said that people were already fed-up with the dilapidated condition of this road and after so many visits to the Govt offices and protest in Aalapir, this macadamization work was started but such low standard work is pathetic and will lead to more problems for the people.
“It is very unfortunate that such type of work is being done here in Mandi town and administration is behaving like a silent spectator”, they added.
Protestors urged Deputy Commissioner Poonch to visit, direct concerned department to explain such negligence and direct them to macadamize it again in perfect manner.
