Shopkeeper Association demands construction of public convenience

JAMMU, Dec 5: Shopkeepers Association today demanded construction of public convenience at Rehari Colony.
Addressing a press conference, Rajesh Gupta, Working President of the Association said that people have to face lots of problems due to non-availability of the toilet complex in the area.
Gupta said that hundreds of students are visiting the area with their educational works at Board of School Education and are the worst suffers due to non-availability of toilet complexes in the area. He added that the shopkeepers and visitors of the area are also facing problems.
Ashok Anand, Chairman of the Association while speaking said that the traffic scenario in the winter capital is worsening day-to-day and the Traffic Department is looking all this with open eyes.
“Traffic Department should take some concrete measures so as to put end to prevailing traffic snarls in the winter capital”, he added.
He asked the Jammu Municipal Corporation to demolish illegal construction in the area, otherwise the association will adopt agitational path and for any inconvenience JMC authorities and the Government will be responsible.
