Shop of readymade garments gutted in fire

POONCH, Sept 18: A readymade garments shop was gutted in fire late last night at Hathi-Than market in Poonch.
Official sources said that fire broke out at about 2:30 AM during the intervening night of 17 and 18 September and following in information in this regard by the locals, Fire & Emergency Services squad and Policemen reached the spot.
However, by the time the fire was extinguished, all the readymade items had turned into ashes resulting into loss of lakhs of rupees.
The shop belong to one Mohd Ishaq, son of Zakir Hussain, resident of Shiendra in Poonch.
According to Police, the apparently cause of fire was electric short circuit and a report in this regard has been entered in Police Station Poonch.
