JAMMU, Apr 15: Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha Jammu Kashmir will take out a grand Shobha Yatra on the occasion of Ram Navmi in Jammu on April 17.
This was revealed by president of Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Parshotam Dadhichi while addressing a press conference, here today. He was accompanied by Sanjay Gupta (general secretary), Prabhat Singh (working president), Dilip Gupta (press secretary) and Anil K Magotra (joint secretary). He disclosed that the Shobha Yatra will be monitored by Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha along with Dharmarth Trust J&K.
Parshotam Dadhichi said that ‘Jhanki’ of ‘Shri Ram Darbar’ will be taken out by Natak Samaj of the Sanatan Dharam Sabha. He said that pooja of Rath/Jhanki will be performed at the gate of Geeta Bhawan and then, the Rath will proceed towards Shri Raghunath ji Temple.
“From Raghunathji Temple, the Shobha Yatra along with other jhankies will be taken out from decided route i.e. Residency Road, Rajendra Bazar, Kanak Mandi, Bharat Mata Chowk (City Chowk), Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazar, Chowk Chabutra, Pacca Danga, Moti Bazar, Geeta Bhawan, Ranbireshwar Temple, Shalamar Road, Indira Chowk, and will conclude at Hari Market,” he informed.
On a question regarding upcoming Parliamentary elections, Dadhichi said that elections are also like festival in democracy and so, people should celebrate elections like festival and every voter should vote in national interest. He further asserted that people should vote for the preservation of Sanatan values.
