JAMMU, Aug 20: The vice-president of J&K unit of Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackeray), Vikrant Kapoor, was injured today when some unknown miscreants thrashed and attacked him with a wooden log.
According to a police spokesperson, this morning the Shiv Sena leader was on its way from Sidhra to Jammu city on his scooter, when two unknown bike-borne men stopped his way, thrashed him severely and also attacked with a wooden log.
The injured leader was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable.
The concerned police has registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
