JAMMU, Mar 13: Shiv Sena J&K has flayed the decision of Central Government to lower the interest on Provident Fund of Government employees and also demanded implementation of State Government’s order of submission of Employee’s Performance Report (EPM) which should be confined to higher rank officers only.
In a press conference here today, Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni said that direction of J&K administration to lower cadre employees especially the Class-IV ones to submit details of monthly performance has put them under tremendous pressure.
He said that Class IV and other lower level employees are unable to do justice with Government roster as many of them are already under pressure of doing personal tasks of their officers.
Sahni demanded that instead of putting unnecessary pressure on lower cadre employees, the accountability of higher officials of various departments should be fixed and he urged the J&K LG in this regard.
Shiv Sena general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; chairman, Rakesh Gupta; secretary, Geeta Lakhotra; lower cadre employees including Surinder Kumar, Sanjeev Soodan, Rajesh Handa, Dimple and Arun Kumar were also present on the occasion.
