Jammu, June 4: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray today urged upon the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to bring an ordinance to scrap Articles 370 and 35A.
Led by Dimpy Kohli, State Shiv Sena President Sena activists staged a protest demonstration at SIDCO Chowk here and raised slogans in support of their demands.
Speaking on the occasion Kohli said, if ordinance can be brought for amendment in Section (1) of Article 370 then it shows that BJP is scared of completely scraping it.
“There should be one Constitution and one flag for the entire country,” he said.
Kohli said that whenever India takes a tough stand against Pakistan the leaders of Kashmir start chanting peace talks.
“Leaders of NC and PDP are expressing concern over a handful of separatists and Hurriyat leaders but where were they when 300,000 Kashmiri Pandits were thrown out from Kash-mir,” Shiv Sena leader said.
“If Prime Minister, Nar-endra Modi and Union Home Min-ister, Amit Shah really want to fulfill the dreams of J&K people struggling for abrogation of Articles 370 & 35A then they must first abrogate it,” he further said.
