JAMMU, Nov 17: On the seventh death anniversary, Shiv Sainiks from J&K under the leadership of President Manish Sahni paid floral tributes to Bala Saheb Thackeray.
In his address, Manish Sahni said that Bala Saheb Thackeray and his thoughts are still alive in the heart of every Shiv Sainik. “The campaign that Bala Saheb Thackeray started in Ayodhya for the construction of the grand Ram temple and the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and the implementation of the Indian Constitution has been carried out, which is a true tribute to him”, he added.
Sahni said that in 1966, Bala Saheb Thackeray framed the Shiv Sena for the rights of the people of Maharashtra.
On this occasion, Shiv Sainik distributed 1000 packets of Saheb Food to the stranded passengers free of cost due to the closure of the Jammu and Kashmir National Highway at the Jammu Bus Stand.
Sahni said that under the scheme of Saheb Khana, he has reached 15,000 needy people.
Among orhts present were President Mahila Wing, Meenakshi Chhibber, Senior Vice President Surjeet Singh, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Secretary Raj Singh, Rabia Khajuria, Balwant Singh, Joint Secretary Raju Salaria, Parveen Gupta, Pawan Singh, Sanjeev Soodan, Champa Devi, Rajesh Handa, Pawan Gupta, Manoj Kumar and Lava Ram.
