UDHAMPUR, Mar 13: A book “Dhaarey Da Shallaipa, an anthology of poems in Dogri, composed by Mohan Lal ‘Pant, was released by Padamshree Shiv Nirmohi, during a simple but impressive function, here today.
Dr Adarsh Prakash, renowned Archaeologist and writer and Balraj Bakshi, famous poet and writer besides other writers were present on the occasion.
The book contains poems which deal with various aspects of life. This is the first book from the pen of the budding poet.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Shiv Nirmohi appreciated Mohan Lal ‘Pant for his keen sense of observation and sublimity and wished him success in his future endeavours.
Dr Adarsh Prakash lauded efforts of the poet in depicting myriad aspects and facets of life in the form of beautiful poems.
Anil Paba and Ashok Sharma described the book poems as the wonderful recording in words of the poet’s emotional experiences and wished him success in his literary pursuits.
On this occasion, Deshbandhu Nutan, Prakash Premi, Kusum Sharma ‘Antara’ Jiya Lal ‘Jia, Subhash Sharma, Devendra Thakur, Dr K C Sharma and Sarpanch Pawan Sharma were also present.
