Srinagar, July 31: Police today said a shepherd and his grand-daughter were killed after they fell in a water reservoir in Nyoma area of Leh district.
A police spokesman said that a shepherd namely Murup Dorjay and his grand-daughter namely Tashi Lamo fell in a water reservoir at sheep farm Nidder in Nyoma Leh and both died on spot.
“After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the bodies of both the deceased were handed over to their legal heirs for last rites. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
