RAJOURI, July 31:  While a Medical  Board constituted by the District Administration Rajouri today conducted  the postmortem of the dead body of Budhal youth whose dead body was recovered from a lake at Pir Panjal, the police registered a fresh case  in this connection.
The State and District Administration, taking serious note of the ugly developments at Targain village of Budhal, in connection with the suicide of 25-year-old Fazal Hussain, son of Mohd Abdullah, directed the District Police  to initiate inquest proceedings and register a fresh case against those responsible to create such circumstances. It has been learnt that apprehending their arrests by police, some of the members of  `so called’ local Panchayat who issued `Fatwa’ humiliating the youth and pressurizing him to consume urine of  woman, have gone underground.
A senior police officer said that after postmortem, the body of the youth was buried at his home village. The situation was tense and as precautionary  measures,  some deployment of police was also made today. He said that after 4th day, the statements of the family members  of the deceased Fazal will be recorded.  Simultaneously, the police raiding parties will do their job.
It is pertinent to mention here that Fazal  committed  suicide after jumping into a lake in Pir Panjal ranges, about 12 kms from Budhal,  after parents of a girl of the same area  leveled rape charge against  him and local Panchayat passed a  most humiliating ‘Fatwa’  against him.
The dead body of the youth was recovered from `Samsar Sar’  on the higher reaches of Budhal in Pir Panjal  on Sunday. Some nomads, having  `Dhoks’ in the area,  saw the body  floating on the lake and  dragged it out. The story was known after listening recording of the boy on his mobile phone before suicide.
