SUNDERBANI, Oct 2: MLC Ravinder Sharma, Chief Spokesman J&K Pradesh Congress Committee has provided Rs 5 lakh each to Sunderbani and Nowshera Sub Divisions out of his CDF for provision of tarpaulins to the flood affected people.
Mr. Sharma announced this amount during the visit of Hon’ble Justice Virender Singh of J&K High Court, Chairman Legal Services Authorities, to the Sunderbani and Dandesar area of Nowshera.
Justice Virender Singh during review of the relief measures for rains and flood affected people found that more tarpaulins were required in the area as an immediate relief measures. Mr. Ravinder Sharma, who was present on the occasion asked to provide funds to meet the requirement. He has already given Rs 20 lakh out of his CDF in the district for the same purpose.
Mr Sharma thanked State Legal authorities for visiting various parts of the State and taking measures for the rains and flood affected people.
