JAMMU, Oct 2: Javed Ahmed Rana, Deputy Chairman, Legislative Council today asked the Director Consumer Affairs Department Jammu for ensuring regular and timely supply of essential commodities in Poonch and Rajouri districts.
He was chairing a meeting of officers of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department here today.
Mr. Rana discussed various important issues for the timely supply of ration to Poonch and Rajouri districts.
While expressing his satisfaction over the distribution of ration in Rajouri and Poonch districts, Rana asked the officers to work with utmost zeal and dedication so that the process of ration supply would not affected.
He asked the Director CAPD to prioritize the issues like APL ration shortage be removed in the areas of Poonch and Rajouri district, BPL Survey should be conducted to give the benefit to ignored families which are not included under BPL list etc.
