CPPWU holds meet, discusses demands

JAMMU, Oct 2: A meeting  of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union, (CPPWU) district Kishtwar was held today under the Chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari.
The leaders of the union while addressing the meeting urged upon the Managing Director State Forest Corporation (SFC) to depute A K Naik, Chief General Manager (Development ) to enquire the fake certificates submitted by class IV employees of SFC East and West Divisions of Kishtwar and also against those who are habitual of remaining absent from duty and are involved in private business.
Union chairman Joginder Bhandari while addressing said that there are a number of employees in SFC East and West Divisions of Kishtwar who are not performing their duties since last 25 years and drawing salaries regularly which also needs to be enquired.
He also said that these employees are paying handsome money to their incharge officers in order to avoid their regular duties and remain busy in their private business which needs physical verification of their duties and de-attachment of all such employees.
Those who attended the meeting included Bashir Khan, Mohd Amin Butt, Tariq Patri, Anil Sharma, Mohd Khalil Tapal, Gh Hussain Gannie, Javed Sheikh, Mohd Ashraf Gannie, Sameer Butt, Asgar Hussain, Akhter Hussain, Sunil Sharma, Ram Rattan Sharma, Sardar Sat Pal Singh, Sajjad Sheikh, Shoket Ahanger, Irshad Ahmed, Jaffar Hussain, Nisar Lone, Jaffa Giri, Nisar Bhaderwahi, Farooq Ahmed, Rinku Tandulkar and Hafizullah Mattoo.
